Week 4 - Long Range Pollution Transport

Week 4 will look at how emissions from natural and anthropogenic sources such as volcanoes, wildfires and dust storms can be transported long distances, and how we can measure and monitor this. We will go over aerosols, how pollution is transported through the air and the sources of these pollutants in more detail. This week will also look at how we can monitor wildfires and biomass burning and using this data to enforce policy, as well as aerosol forecasting.
